The client has 9 world-class pharmaceutical production facilities and manufactures a large range of pharmaceuticals as well as diagnostics, herbal products, skin care products and other OTC products. 100+ year old building products manufacturer based in India chooses FieldMax

The latest addition to the fast growing customer base of FieldMax is a diversified business group involved in manufacturing and marketing of innovative, high quality products for the interior decoration and building industries. In business for over 100 years, the client currently markets its products to the Indian domestic market and has immediate plans to introduce key products to meet the demand from international markets.

The client was using conventional sales management techniques to manage its field sales team. Sales team visits distributors and retailers on a scheduled basis and capture orders using Daily Sales Report (DSR) forms. The orders are then communicated via phone or fax to the head office, which consolidates all forms from all sales territories. The delivery logistics were scheduled based on the inflow of DSRs. As the client expanded its operations, the client saw more inefficiency build into their supply chain logistics.

     (1) Consolidation of order data became effort and time intensive, leading to delivery schedule slippages
     (2) Since real time sales information was not available, tracking and management of sales activities was becoming increasingly difficult
     (3) The management team was not able to react to competition (by introducing promotions or changing price) in a timely manner resulting in loss of sales
     (4) Production and warehousing decisions had to be done on an ad-hoc basis, as order details were purely based on past demand
